As everyone pores over the lists of New Years Honours awards, the Editor would like to take the opportunity to congratulate our own Scott Flaving on his award of the Imperial Service Medal. This award is for 28 years Meritorious service, as a civil servant with the Ministry of Defence, after his discharge from active service with ‘The Dukes’.
As those at the Halifax Reunion last year will remember Scott was presented with a silver Duke on horsback following his retirement as Chief Clerk at the Yorkshire Regiment’s RHQ and formerly at ‘The Dukes’ RHQ.
