RIDE FOR THE REGIMENT
11th – 12th May 2019
A 2 day cycle ride through Yorkshire in aid of The Duke of Wellington’s Regiment Memorial Fund.
Starting in Richmond, North Yorkshire on Saturday 11th May and finishing in Halifax on Sunday 12th May.
Day 1 Saturday Richmond to York, c 60 miles.
08:30 Meet Worsley Barracks York, transport with bicycles to Richmond or Meet at Market Square, Richmond, outside The Green Howards Museum, at 10:30am.
B&B at the Drill Hall, Worsley Barracks, York. Evening supper and drinks in York (at own expense).
Day 2 Sunday York to Halifax, c60 miles
Arriving early/mid afternoon. Return transport with bicycles from Halifax to York.
£45 for 2 days plus a minimum £100 pledge to DWR Memorial fund, all details at Registration
£30 for one day plus a minimum £50 pledge to DWR Memorial fund. An award will be made to the highest fundraiser.

Routes Ride Captains will follow a pre planned route circulated to all riders in advance.
Volunteers and support drivers The ride is looking for volunteers to drive support vehicles on the event.
Kit T-shirts, cycle tops and/or Regimental caps will be optional extras see Registration.

Friday night – B&B and car parking is available at Worsley Barracks on Friday 10th May for those travelling a long distance.
