Elizabeth Cross Presentations
The Elizabeth Cross and Memorial Scroll are granted to the Next of Kin of UK Armed Forces personnel who have died on operations or as a result of terrorism between 1 January 1948 to date.

Private Roy Gibson – KIA 24 May 1953, ‘The Hook’, Korea
Private George Lee – KIA 6 June 1972, Ballymurphy, Northern Ireland
On the 2 and 3 July at Crathorne House, Yarm, the Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, Lord Crathorne, presented medals to the next of kin of:
Corporal John Henry Thompson – KIA 29 May 1953, Korea
Lance Corporal Jack Pinkney – KIA 29 May 1953, Korea
