Note:  On 6 June 2006 the 1st Battalion rebadged to become the 3rd Battalion, The Yorkshire Regiment  (The Duke of Wellington's) .  The above Regimental Headquaters has become the West Riding Area Office of the Yorkshire Regiment, working to the Regiment’s new RHQ in Tower Street, York.   Since this website is essentially that of the Duke of Wellington's Regiment it will continue to refer to its RHQ as that in Halifax. 

If you have a query regarding past members of the regiment, or anything  of a historical nature, you should use the special form (Word Document) which you will find in the archive section of the website.  This archive request form should be fully completed and sent to RHQ at Wellesley Park.
