FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE LATE COLONEL R M HARMS, MC

Funeral Service.

The Funeral Service took place at 11.00am on Saturday 23rd April 2016, in Halifax Minster. The service was followed at 12.30pm by a reception in the Imperial Crown Hotel, Halifax, which is a short walk from the Minster.

The Eulogy, on behalf of the Regiment, was delivered by Lieutenant Colonel Walter Robins, OBE.

Interment.

Rodney was buried at 11.00am on Monday 25th April in a new cemetery in Ripon, named ‘Lark Hill Cemetery’, Little Harries Lane, Ripon, HG4 2RA.

Rodney’s family said that they fully understand that a lot of people would not be able to attend both the services in Halifax and Ripon, which is why they opted to hold the reception following the service in Halifax, where they expected most people would attend.

Condolences.

For those who were unable to attend either of the above services, Condolences, should you wish, can be sent to Rodney’s family, daughters Sarah and Clare, and son Julian, to the following address:

c/o Mr Julian Harms, 3 Rathbone Road, Warley, Smethwick, West Midlands, B67 5JQ.
