The Officers and Soldiers of the 1st Battalion are holding a Veterans Brunch on the 12th of December for all regimental and antecedent regiment veterans at Alma Barracks, in Catterick.
The morning will provide the opportunity for veterans to engage with members of the 1st Bn and the equipment that is being used today before a formal parade to mark Helmand Day. Veterans will be invited to be on parade alongside the Bn as they mark this significant Company day in our regimental calendar. On conclusion of the parade all veterans alongside members of the Bn are invited to the Warrant Officers’ & Sergeants’ Mess for a brunch. A detailed programme of events can be seen below:
0900 – Arrival
0915 – Weapon and Capability Stands
1015 – Helmand Day Parade
1030 – 1200 Brunch
1230 – Dispersal
Dress – Jacket and Regimental Tie
Please note: Due to the size of the venue and expected numbers the event will be veterans only.
Any Veteran who requires a carer to attend please liaise with the Millennium Branch.
No alcohol will be served
