Derek Dugdale
Derek Dugdale sadly passed away on the 27th Aug 2019.
Derek served with the Regiment from 1969 to 1977, in Hong Kong, Cyprus and Northern Ireland. Prior to his death he had been suffering for quite a few months with prostate cancer.
Derek’s Daughter, Yvette, said Derek regularly attended the annual reunions in Halifax and was very proud to have served with The ‘Dukes’. His grandson now has his medals which he will cherish just as much, as he is serving in the Scots Guards, which made his grandad very proud indeed.
Derek’s funeral was held in Burnley, with the last post being played,, on 10th September, 2019.
