John Allerton – Drum Major

Dear Sir’s and Gentlemen

It is with great sadness that I have to advise you that Drum Major John Allerton died recently of age related illnesses.

John served as an outstanding Drum Major. 

John’s funeral took place on the 31st of August at 1400hrs at:

St. Martin’s Church, The Street, Fornham Saint Martin, Bury Saint Edmund, IP31 1SW. 

John Hogg acted as Standard Bearer and represented the Regiment.
