Colonel Rodney M Harms MC

The following e-mail was received at HQ, from the daughter of Colonel Rodney M. Harms:-

“Rodney left this world this morning, April 6th 2016, at 7.15 am. His son, Julian, and daughter Clare were with him.
The end was peaceful and we believe, as he did, that he is now safe in the arms of Jesus.”

The Funeral Service took place at 11:00hrs on Saturday 23rd April, 2016, in Halifax Minster.
The Eulogy, on behalf of the Regiment, was delivered by Lieutenant Colonel Walter Robins, OBE.
Rodney was buried at 11:00hrs on Monday 25th April in a new cemetery, named ‘Lark Hill Cemetery’, in Ripon
